Perhaps the Carabao Cup will offer West Ham timely rest-bite from a Premier League campaign that has gotten off to the worst possible start.
Two games in, the Hammers sit bottom of the League having lost both of their first two games of the new campaign away at Manchester United and Southampton respectively.
Tomorrow night, West Ham travel to Cheltenham to take on the League Two side in the second round of the Carabao Cup where they will be hoping for their first win of the season.
Slaven Bilic will likely still be without the likes of Cheikhou Kouyate, Manuel Lanzini and Andy Carroll who could all make their first appearances of the season away at Newcastle on Saturday.
Expect West Ham to make a number of changes from the side that lost late on at St. Mary’s – here’s our predicted XI.
