West Ham have had a bid for Robert Snodgrass rejected by Hull in the club’s latest efforts to improve the squad, according to the Hull Daily Mail’s Philip Buckingham.

Rumours from the Boleyn Insider suggested that the club have bid £20m for a player from Scotland, and suggestions over a bid for Moussa Dembele proved to be false, which potentially indicates that the money was offered for the 29-year-old instead.
Recent speculation has valued the Scottish international at around £6-10 million, however, Snodgrass has recently had his contract extended until the summer of 2018.

Sky Sports News have reported that the bid was worth £3m and was turned down by the Tigers.
He has been one of the talents of the bottom half of the Premier League table, scoring nine goals in all competitions for the Tigers and keeping them in a healthier points position at the bottom of the table.
It has been suggested that Marco Silva’s Hull do not have much money to spend in this window to improve their squad and a large bid may tempt them into selling before buying in their efforts to stay in the top-flight.
