Despite only joining West Ham from Swansea in the summer for a club-record fee of £20.5m, Andre Ayew could be on the move again.
According to the Daily Mail, United Arab Emirates outfit Al Ain are eager to sign Ayew and are prepared to offer him a mega contract worth a whopping £200,000-a-week.
On debut, Ayew was forced off in the first-half after suffering a severe thigh injury which required surgery and kept the Ghanaian forward out for over two months before he made his return in the 2-0 defeat at Everton.
In his half season with the Hammers Ayew has made 13 appearances and scored against his former club Swansea and it’s no doubt that his performances have improved in recent weeks.
West Ham will be without Ayew for the immediate future as he joins up with the Ghana national team for this Winter’s African Cup of Nations in Gabon.
While Al Ain may attempt to turn Ayew’s head with the big wages, it’s unlikely they’ll convince the Hammers to part ways with their record signing.
