EFL Cup Predicted XI: Manchester United (A)

After scraping a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday evening, West Ham will need to do it all over again on Wednesday night when they take on Manchester United in the EFL Cup.

Slaven Bilic’s men put in a dogged display against United to earn themselves a vital point in the Premier League following the criminal injustice of what happened at White Hart Lane.

The EFL Cup had been treated as a way of getting the fringe players more minutes, but being just three games away from Wembley and another daunting trip to Manchester awaits, Bilic will likely field a strong side.

West Ham will likely be without Diafra Sakho who went off with a hamstring injury in the second half of Sunday’s game after scoring the opener in the second minute, while Andy Carroll may be involved.

With that in mind, here’s our West Ham predicted XI for the cup clash.
