Who was West Ham’s best player against Tottenham?

As defeats go, the one suffered by West Ham at Tottenham was one of the most sickening.

The Hammers took the lead thanks to Michail Antonio’s first-half header but were pegged back when Harry Winks scored on his Spurs debut.

West Ham continued to battle and were rewarded when Vincent Janssen pulled back Winston Reid in the area and Mike Dean gave a penalty which Manuel Lanzini put away.

The Hammers looked like they were going to claim all three points but in the 89th minute, Harry Kane levelled the game after good work from Son Heung-Min.

Still, a point at White Hart Lane isn’t terrible, but West Ham didn’t even get that.

In injury time, Havard Nordtveit fouled Son in the box and Kane scored to break West Ham hearts.

Still, some West Ham players can be proud of their performances, but who stood out?

Simply choose which of the two players below you thought had a better game and we’ll go ‘winner-stays-on’ style until the end.
