Tomorrow evening, West Ham welcome Astra Giurgiu to the London Stadium for the second leg of their Europa League play-off tie.
In the first-leg, an early Mark Noble penalty was cancelled out late on by Denis Alibec to leave the tie tentatively poised at 1-1 on aggregate – with the Hammers possessing a potentially crucial away goal.
Of course, we all remember what happened last season when the Hammers took on the Romanian side in the Europa League qualifiers.
Slaven Bilic’s side took to an early 2-0 lead before being pegged back and drawing the first leg 2-2 and ultimately being knocked out 4-3 on aggregate.
Perhaps playing home second in this tie will work in our favour this time.
Despite some key injuries, the Hammers can’t afford to field a weakened side tomorrow night or they risk missing out on the group stages and the financial windfalls from it.
With that in mind, here is out predicted XI & bench for tomorrow night’s game.
