Swansea City have become the latest club chasing Aston Villa striker and West Ham target Jordan Ayew, Ghanasoccernet.com reports.
Ayew has been touted with a move away from Villa Park since the Villains relegation at the end of last season. They have held onto him so far, and he even featured in Wednesday nights defeat in the EFL Cup at the hands of Luton Town.
Swansea will face competition for Ayew’s signature. Along with West Ham, Premier League rivals West Brom and Sunderland are vying for the Ghanaian’s services. Further afield, German side Hamburg are believed to be interested in the 24-year-old. Villa are thought to want £12m for the striker.

Earlier this week, West Ham completed the signing of Ayew’s older brother, Andre, from Swansea City.
Ayew joined Aston Villa last summer from French outfit Lorient for £10.25m, and scored seven goals in his 36 appearances for Villa.
Ayew is a Ghanaian international, having made his international debut in 2010 against Swaziland. Since then, he has picked up 37 international caps and scored 12 times for his country.
