West Ham United have just broken their club record transfer fee in signing Ghanaian international Andre Ayew from Swansea City – but their business is not done yet!
According to the Stoke Sentinel, the Hammers are set to land Aston Villa forward Jordan Ayew on loan for the 2015-16 season, as they look for an immediate response to the injury to attacking midfielder Manuel Lanzini.

Jordan Ayew is, of course, the brother of record singing Andre Ayew – and the Villa frontman is wanted by West Bromwich Albion, whose new owners have given Pulis their backing over the safety of his job.
However, their reign at the Hawthorns is unlikely to be kicked off with the signing of a player from bitter rivals Villa, with Slaven Bilic having bigger pulling power; the promise of football at the Olympic Stadium, potential for Europa League football this season, and of course the chance to link up with his brother Andre, will likely tempt Jordan Ayew a lot more than simply being a replacement for want-away Saido Berahino at West Brom.

Jordan Ayew scored seven goals in 30 Premier League appearances for relegated Aston Villa last season. A strong dribbler with the ball, he has an eye for goal and loves to take defenders on, so would be a fitting replacement for Lanzini, at least in the short term.
