Darren Lewis of the Mirror has reported that West Ham have had a bid rejected for Besiktas star Atiba Hutchinson.
The Hammers have acted quickly so far this summer, having already announced the signings of Valencia winger Sofiane Feghouli on a free-transfer, and Borussia Monchengladbach’s Håvard Nordtveit.
Canadian midfielder, Hutchinson, can also play as a right-back, and has had interest received from the Hammers across the summer, but it appears the East London club are getting no further in getting their man.
Slaven Bilic suggested three million euros [£2.3million] for Atiba. We rejected this proposal and thank him.
Atiba has one more year on his contract with us.

The Hammers are continuing their search for a a high-class striker, and another attacking midfielder to join their ranks at the Olympic Stadium.
33-year-old Hutchinson has been with Turkish side Besiktas since 2013, when he made the switch from Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven. Hutchinson has made 94 appearances for the Turk side, netting five times.
Hutchinson has also been involved with the Canadian national team since 2003, making 75 appearances and finding the net on three occasions.
