As per the BBC, it has been announced that when West Ham finally leave the Boleyn Ground for the Olympic Stadium, the Hammers will only have to pay £2.5m per year on rent.
It was revealed in public despite the owners of the stadium, the London Legacy Development Corporation, wanting to keep the matter private.
When the 207 page document was released, it stated that Premier League side West Ham will pay the sum per year, over the lease which lasts 99 years.
The Hammers move into their new ground this summer, and the news follows their FA Cup exit against Manchester United yesterday evening following a 1-2 loss, which saw the Boleyn Ground say farewell to the Cup for the last time.

The first £4m which is put towards naming rights on the new ground will be given to LLDC and the Newham Borough, with anything above that agreed to be separated between the two above parties and West Ham United Football Club.
If the East London side get relegated from the top-flight in English football, the rent on the Olympic Stadium will be halved, which would then settle at £1.25m.
During their stay at their new stadium, which will probably be a lifetime for many, David Gold and co. won’t have to pay for staff to carry out services, which will include such workers as turnstile operators and cleaners.
