West Ham have put a huge valuation on their star man Dimitri Payet to try and fend off the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid, according to the Express.
The Frenchman has been the talisman for the Hammers in what’s been a very good season under Slaven Bilic. His performances have warranted the interest from the bigger hitters of the footballing world.
He moved to London for just over £10m from Marseille, a fee that now looks like a complete steal.
Since then, he’s been a revelation – making a name for himself with his free-kick ability and general top drawer play.

It’s reported that the club will not listen to any offers below £50m – a figure they see Payet being worth.
The midfielder agreed a new contract in February, allegedly earning him around £125,000 per week.
Whilst that’s expected to keep him in London, other clubs entering the frame is a concern for the Hammers, who understandably don’t want to lose a prize asset.
At the age of 29, it’s probably unlikely that that fee will be matched, which is obviously the ploy of the club.
For West Ham to build on what they’ve achieved this season, you feel they need to keep hold of key men such as Payet.
