West Ham United are ready to resume their attempts to sign Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz claims TalkSPORT.
The Hammers attempted to sign the Turkish international in the summer but had a £3.5 million bid eventually turned down by Galatasaray boss, Hamza Hamzaoglu.
Slaven Bilic is looking to bulk-up his strike-force in January with Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho having an injury-struck season so far. Subsequently, West Ham’s forward position is now looking rather bare.

Yilmaz has an outstanding goals-to-games ratio for the Turkish giants, scoring 61 goals in 98 appearances. The 30-year-old has also scored five goals in eight showings in the Super Lig this term.
The Turk is under contract until 2019 at his current employers, but the Irons are looking to end that current deal short by luring Yilmaz to East London in January.
He’s gained 42 caps for Turkey in what is another prolific scoring ratio with him netting 19 goals for his country.
It is said that West Ham will have to offer much more for the striker this time round, though, and could be forced to spend about £7.5 million to secure the signing of Yilmaz.
