West Ham have expressed interest in Portuguese star Ruben Neves, alongside both Arsenal and Liverpool.
As Porto beat Maccabi Tel-Aviv in their Champions League clash on Tuesday, the 18-year-old became the youngest player to captain their side in the European tournament.
Neves is often spoken about as the Portugal’s best upcoming talent, as well as being likened to the style of Barcelona’s very own Sergio Busquets.
Portuguese paper O Jogo have been reporting that the trio of English clubs have sent scouts to watch Neves at Porto as they all prepare their respective bids.
Scouts from the Premier League trio were reportedly in the stands for Porto’s clash with Tel-Aviv, where they won 2-0.
As the January transfer window gets closer and closer, more Premier League teams are expected to join the race for the Portuguese youngster, who now that he’s captained his domestic side, has a lot of pressure on his shoulders.
