Emmanuel Adebayor could finally complete his protracted move to West Ham United on deadline day, according to the Mail.
The Togolese forward had originally stalled on a move to the Boleyn Ground and West Ham thought the deal was dead in the water.
But it seems Adebayor has had a change of heart and is set to ply his trade in East London, with Tottenham eager to get the much-maligned striker out of White Hart Lane.
Adebayor has been frozen out at Tottenham under Mauricio Pochettino and it is believed the Lilywhites are prepared to subsidise the former Arsenal hitman’s wages, believed to be £100,000 a week, to ensure he leaves North London.
Slaven Bilic is eager for striking reinforcements due to the injury problems of Enner Valencia and Andy Carroll and is confident of bringing in the 31-year-old on a season-long-loan before Tuesday’s 6pm deadline.
Aston Villa are also interested in Adebayor but their advances were rebuffed by the player earlier this summer.
Sky have also confirmed these reports by stating that Slaven Bilic held talks with Emmanuel Adebayor last night.

Another striker set to join West Ham is Hull City’s Nikica Jelavic who has had a medical ahead of a £3million move to Upton Park, where he will link up with his former Croatia boss, Slaven Bilic.
