West Ham are being linked with several Premier League wingers as they look to recover from a mixed start to the Premier League season. New manager Slaven Bilic wants more width in his team, and could make sure West Ham do more transfer business to ensure he has this by the end of the transfer window.
The Evening Standard says that Victor Moses is top of the wanted list, although there were reports before that Tottenham also wanted to sign the ex-Wigan winger, while Aston Villa had tentative links. However, if he wants to stay in London, and isn’t confident about his abilities to get in the Spurs team, West Ham could be his first choice. The Hammers are reportedly closing in on the signing of Moses in a £7m deal.

Meanwhile, Aaron Lennon and Adnan Januzaj are potential backups to Nigerian Moses. Lennon has lost his squad number at White Hart Lane and has spent all summer being linked with Everton and Aston Villa – although much like Emmanuel Adebayor, is yet to find a new club – but now The Hammers could enter the race for the player.
Adnan Januzaj would likely be more difficult, as he features in Manchester United’s first-team plans, and has previously rubbished rumours linking him with a move away. However, Manchester United have recently revealed that they are open to loaning out the young Belgian, should the sign another forward-thinking player before next weeks deadline.

The final winger on our radar is highly-rated Roma youngster Juan Iturbe. The Argentina youth international is seen as a squad player currently by Rudi Garcia, and West Ham, as well as Everton, are hoping to bring in the forward on a season-long loan deal. However, there are fresh reports that state the Hammers would be prepared to offer £11m to bring in Iturbe.
The Evening Standard also say that The Hammers are considering re-starting a bid for Joey Barton, who is still without a club after his release from QPR last summer. He was allegedly close to signing for the club following the season’s start, but his potential employers ended up pulling out of a deal.
