Chelsea’s Victor Moses could be on his way to West Ham United before the transfer window closes, as The Daily Mirror report that The Hammers have made a £6 million bid for the Nigerian.
However, they may have to up their bid if they want to bring the Chelsea man in, with the Mirror also saying that the Premier League champions want £10 million for a man who’s spent the last two seasons out on loan.
Slaven Bilic’s team are likely to face competition from two other Premier League teams – Aston Villa and Tottenham – for the 24-year-old’s signature, as they’ve both also allegedly shown an interest in the former Wigan man.
Moses spent last season on loan at Stoke City under Mark Hughes, where he started 19 games – although he was substituted off in 11 of them. He hasn’t appeared for Chelsea in the league since May 2013, with Jose Mourinho not a big fan of the ex-Wigan winger.
He was sent on loan to Liverpool in Mourinho’s first year as the returning manager, and failed to succeed despite almost picking up a league winners’ medal, and then went to The Britannia the following season. He could now be on the way to Upton Park.
