Slaven Bilic has banned Morgan Amalfitano from the first team training ground, Chadwell Heath.
According to the Daily Mail, West Ham’s new boss has shown his authority by banning the ‘troubled’ midfielder from the training ground. He has forced 30-year-old Amalfitano to train with the Under 21’s at Rush Green.
The French midfielder failed to attend a team meeting, causing the player and manager to clash. By leaving Amalfitano out of the first team, Bilic is setting an example to the rest of his squad.
Amalfitano wasn’t included in the Premier League opener at the Emirates but had been included in the short-lived Europa League campaign. This could see Amalfitano leave the club just months after signing a new two-year contract. The Daily Mail also reported this summer that there were clubs interested in Amalfitano.
Bilic is not the only manager to have endured problems with the Frenchman, Sam Allardyce promised to ‘deal’ with the player following him being sent off only 10 minutes after being brought on as a substitute, due to an altercation with West Brom player Chris Brunt in February. The player was very unprofessional by pushing the player, in clear view of the referee, following being booked for a nasty challenge on the midfielder and received two yellow cards for the one incident.

Bilic has proved he will not stand for disciplinary issues like this, by sending the player into the development squad.
