Inside Futbol report that West Ham United are still yet to agree a deal with Inter Milan for Danilo D’Ambrosio, in spite of meeting with the player’s agent.
The Hammers are hoping to bring the Italian to Upton Park on a four-year deal but have yet to agree a fee with Roberto Mancini’s side. D’Ambrosio recorded two assists in nineteen starts for the former Champions League winners during the 2014/15 campaign.
Carl Jenkinson currently boasts the right-back spot, but as he will be departing the club next summer as his loan spell from fellow Premier League side Arsenal ends, the 26-year-old may yet be vital to the opening season at the Olympic Stadium.
The 26-year-old is said to be available for between £5.5million and £7million, and would provide experience in the West Ham back-line in what is set to be a hectic season at the Boleyn Ground. He would be the club’s tenth summer signing.
