West Ham have tabled an £8.4m transfer bid for Fenerbahce forward Moussa Sow, reports the Metro. The Turkish top tier team are said to be considering the offer that the East London club have submitted.
The 29-year-old would link up with fellow Senegalese Hammers Cheikhou Kouyate and Diafra Sakho, if he was to make the move to Upton Park.
Although Sow is not an orthodox striker, he predominantly features in a variety of wide attacking positions, and could be deemed cover for the injured Enner Valencia.
During the 2014/15 campaign, the attacking midfielder recorded 16 goals and 5 assists in just 29 domestic starts, and could be the answer to Slaven Bilic’s striking problems.
Sow has 11 goals in 29 international appearances for the Senegal national setup, and would be a fantastic addition to Bilic’s squad. However, fellow Premier League side Sunderland have also shown an interest in him, as competition hots up.
