West Ham are among the clubs interested in midfielder Federico Mancuello, according to Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato.
The Argentinian, who currently plays in his home country for top tier side Independiente, has been linked with a move to Upton Park. The 26-year-old midfielder has two caps for the Argentinian national side, which both came this year. He scored an absolute screamer on his debut, having come on as a substitute for Angel Di Maria and scoring a delicious free-kick.
Mancuello is also on the radar of other Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, Tottenham, West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle. Serie A teams Sampdoria and Palermo are also keeping an eye on him.
If he was to make a move to the Boleyn Ground, he would join fellow Argentinians Mauro Zarate and Manuel Lanzini. He currently has four goals in eleven domestic starts for his current club this campaign, which he has been at since he was a teenager.
