West Ham United midfielder Kevin Nolan could depart the club if he is not assured of regular first team action, according to the Daily Express.
The Englishman started under manager Slaven Bilic recently in both the home leg and the away leg against Maltese outfit FC Birkirkara, in the Europa League.
Nolan has just one year left on his current Hammers contract, but the East London club could cash in on him this summer, in order to avoid the possibility of letting him leave for free.
The 33-year-old spoke out on the matter, and said: ‘I have made my feelings known that I don’t want to be sitting on the bench. I want to be playing and give my all in training. If that’s good enough, then great. If not, we’ll have to sit down and see where we go from there.‘
He added: ‘I’m coming to the tail-end of my career and I’ve got to do what’s best for me and my family. To be fair, we haven’t got that far yet but we’ll see.’
