West Ham have joined the race to sign Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie, according to Sky Sports Sources.
The DR Congo international, who was rather impressive last season with his tricky flair and silky skills, is also wanted by fellow Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Tottenham.
Slaven Bilic’s side may be looking to bolster their creative options, following the departure of Stewart Downing to Middlesbrough. At 25 years of age, Bolasie still has the potential to get even better. He recorded four goals and six assists during the 2014/15 campaign. Crystal Palace are reportedly expecting bids from at least two English teams, with the Irons definitely interested in the wide man.
The Eagles may be looking for a hefty price tag however, with their manager and ex-West Ham boss Alan Pardew stating in April that: ‘I’ll sell Yannick, if someone wants to give me £40m to £60m, somewhere in there, that would be good.’
