Everton have rejected West Ham’s opening transfer bid for Belgian forward Kevin Mirallas, according to Kristof Terreur of Het Laatste Nieuws.
The Hammers tabled a £6million offer for the 27-year-old, but Roberto Martinez is not satisfied enough to accept the fee. Slaven Bilic is on the lookout for signings who can strengthen his attacking options, and has turned his attention towards the Toffees man.
Premier League rivals Spurs may look to capitalise on the situation as the North Londoners are also said to be keeping their eye on Mirallas this summer.
Mirallas has scored 28 goals in all competitions since moving to England from Olympiakos and could add to this goal tally, but we are no closer to knowing the club he would do so at.
With four goals in 49 games for the Belgian national team, the attacker will want to push for a place in his country’s squad ahead of the Euro 2016 tournament.
