West Ham striker Diafra Sakho is set to find out the extent of his European suspension this Wednesday (15th August).
The Irons forward was shown a straight red card in the recent first round qualifying match in the second leg of the Europa League tie against Andorran outfit FC Lusitans.
He was dismissed by the Danish referee Anders Poulsen in the first half, after just 14 minutes, following an off the ball incident with the opposition in which an elbow was alleged to have been used.
The UEFA Control, Ethics & Disciplinary Body will meet and review the incident, meaning that Sakho could escape with just a one match ban.
However, depending on the seriousness of the altercation, the Senegalese goal-scorer could end up with a three game ban if the worst possible scenario was to occur.
The Hammers will definitely be without the 25-year-old for their second qualifying round match against Maltese side FC Birkirkara, but hopefully that will be the extent of the suspension.
