West Ham transfer target Tolgay Arslan has said that he has received no offers from the East London club.
The Besiktas midfielder worked under Slaven Bilic during the 2014/15 campaign and has been linked with a return to his former manager.
However, speaking to Turkish media outlet Radyospor, the 24-year-old has denied any contact with the Hammers: ‘I am happy at Besiktas and personally I have not received any offers from West Ham.’
He has been previously linked with a move to the Boleyn Ground. Having joined the Super Lig team in January from Hamburg, it will be a rather difficult task to bring the player to Upton Park. He scored two goals in 22 appearances since making the move to Turkey.
The player possesses a versatile ability to play in any midfield position. Despite having no international caps, Arslan has featured for both the Germany U21 team as well as the Turkey U21 team.
Arslan is no stranger to the Premier League, having scored the winning penalty that knocked Liverpool out of the Europa League earlier this year.
