Former Chelsea and Liverpool defender Glen Johnson is currently undergoing negotiations with West Ham, over a possible return to the club.
According to the Daily Express, the 30-year-old is in talks with the East London club as Johnson looks for a new team to join.
The Englishman, who predominantly plays in the right-back position, was released by Brendan Rodgers earlier this summer and is currently a free agent.
With 54 international caps for England, the full-back would most certainly bring invaluable experience to the Irons backline.
He was a product of the West Ham Academy, and made sixteen appearances for the Hammers between 2001 and 2003.
However, several other clubs are said to be interested in securing his signature, including fellow Premier League side Stoke City.
Johnson has several honours to his name, such as the Premier League title with Chelsea, an FA Cup triumph with Portsmouth, and League Cup glory with Liverpool.
