West Ham United have still yet to make a formal offer to managerial target Slaven Bilic. The Hammers are still uncertain whether or not they want to Croatian to take over at Upton Park, reports the Telegraph. This follows the East London club having talks with the 46-year-old, and he is said to be extremely interested in taking the job on.
Bilic left Turkish outfit Besiktas earlier this summer, despite enjoying a successful campaign with them. He recorded impressive results in the Europa League, such as the win over Liverpool, in the competition that West Ham will be participating in next month. The former manager of Croatia spent a small amount of his playing career at the Irons in the late nineties.
It is understood that West Ham are keen on the finding the right man for the job and the board will not be rushed into a decision. However, with fellow managerial targets Unai Emery and Rafael Benitez already being snapped up by various other clubs amongst others, it is perhaps wise to come to a speedier decision as the fans continue to wait in agony.
Marseille manager Marcelo Bielsa is still in the running to be West Ham manager after it came out that the Argentine was set to quit the club following a falling out over transfer business.
