# Nuno rolls the dice again – four changes to West Ham lineup vs Lincoln City

**Nuno Espírito Santo has opted to be the tinkerman once again, with four changes to the starting lineup for West Ham United against Lincoln City.**

[Joël Veltman, Mohamadou Kanté, Pablo Felipe and Joël Piroe](https://www.whufc.com/en/news/starting-xi-or-four-changes-for-lincoln-oct-2026) come into the team, while Kyle Walker-Peters, Divine Mukasa, Tomáš Souček and Taty Castellanos are the four players who drop out.

These changes need to have the desired effect, especially after a [pointed warning](https://readwestham.com/2026/10/14/nuno-west-ham-warning-lincoln-clash/) from the manager.

If points are dropped in a game that West Ham are favourites, further questions will be asked about Nuno.

Lincoln City are yet to win at home, despite three victories on the road this term.

Their co-manager Chris Cohen believes the Imps [can beat anyone in the league](https://readwestham.com/2026/10/14/monster-club-west-ham-lincoln-city-prepare/), but admits they need to offer much more at home.

The Hammers get set for the game at [Sincil Bank](https://readwestham.com/2026/10/14/sincil-bank-capacity-lincoln-city-west-ham/), looking for their first Championship victory in three games after points dropped against Millwall and QPR.

Conversely, Nuno Espírito Santo has led West Ham on a run of seven games without defeat in the Championship.

That has its merits, to an extent, as too many draws will be damaging for promotion prospects.

A win takes the Irons up to third place in the league table and that has to be the aim tonight, under the Sincil Bank floodlights in the live Sky Sports Clash.

Kick off is at 8pm.

**Confirmed West Ham United team vs Lincoln City**: Hermansen, Veltman, Mavropanos, Kilman, Morato, Bowen (C), Engels, Kanté, Solomon, Pablo, Piroe.

Subs: Areola (GK), Walker-Peters, Scarles, Golambeckis, Orford, Mukasa, Souček, Austbø, Taty.
