# West Ham Women player ratings vs Chelsea: Codina scores 4/10 as Hammers struggle in derby defeat

West Ham Women suffered a 3-0 defeat against Chelsea, with Laia Codina receiving the lowest individual rating in FotMob’s assessment.

Melvine Malard, Keira Walsh and Maika Hamano scored for the visitors at Victoria Road.

The [FotMob match centre](https://www.fotmob.com/matches/west-ham-united-vs-chelsea/1j6p2kta) recorded no West Ham shots or touches inside Chelsea’s penalty area, underlining the scale of their attacking difficulties.

The ratings below are FotMob’s scores rounded to the nearest whole number out of ten.

## West Ham Women player ratings against Chelsea

| Player | Rating |
| --- | --- |
| Constance Picaud-Inconnu | 5/10 |
| Nadine Riesen | 6/10 |
| Laia Codina | 4/10 |
| Estelle Cascarino | 6/10 |
| Inès Belloumou | 6/10 |
| Saki Kumagai | 6/10 |
| Katie Zelem | 6/10 |
| Oona Siren | 6/10 |
| Seraina Piubel | 6/10 |
| Viviane Asseyi | 6/10 |
| Kelly Gago | 6/10 |

Riesen, Piubel and Siren shared West Ham’s highest unrounded score. Rounding groups several different performances together, so the identical marks should be read with that limitation.

[Asseyi returned to the starting XI](https://readwestham.com/2026/10/04/west-ham-women-confirm-chelsea-xi-as-asseyi-returns-and-two-goal-siren-keeps-her-place/), while Guarino retained Siren after her two goals against Southampton.

## Substitute ratings

**Leila Wandeler: 6/10.** Replaced Gago after 69 minutes.

**Ylinn Tennebø: Not rated.** Replaced Piubel after 81 minutes.

**Yu Endo: Not rated.** Replaced Riesen after 88 minutes.
