# Manchester United Women vs West Ham Women Head-to-Head Record

Manchester United Women and West Ham United Women meet again on Sunday as Rita Guarino’s side look to improve a difficult historical record against the Red Devils.

The Hammers travel to the Progress With Unity Stadium for a 1pm BST kick-off, with supporters able to find all the broadcast information in our [Manchester United Women vs West Ham Women TV and live-stream guide](https://readwestham.com/2026/09/25/man-utd-women-vs-west-ham-women-tv-channel-live-stream/).

Here is the complete Women’s Super League head-to-head record before Sunday’s fixture.

## Manchester United Women vs West Ham Women head-to-head record

The clubs have completed 13 WSL meetings since Manchester United entered the top flight.

According to [FBref’s head-to-head data](https://fbref.com/en/stathead/matchup/teams/52d65cea/0bbd83f6/West-Ham-United-vs-Manchester-United-History), Manchester United have dominated the overall record.

**WSL head-to-head record:**

- West Ham wins: 1
- Draws: 4
- Manchester United wins: 8
- West Ham goals: 8
- Manchester United goals: 29

West Ham therefore head north searching for only their second league victory over United.

## What happened in the last meeting?

The most recent meeting produced a goalless draw at Chigwell Construction Stadium on 18 March 2026.

That continued a slightly improved home sequence for West Ham, who have now drawn three successive WSL home games against Manchester United.

The last meeting at United was more difficult.

Manchester United won 2-1 on 7 December 2025, continuing a run which has seen West Ham lose each of their six previous WSL trips to face the Red Devils.

Guarino’s team also enter Sunday’s match looking for a response after suffering a [late 1-0 defeat against Everton](https://readwestham.com/2026/09/20/west-ham-women-0-1-everton-wsl-report/) in their previous league fixture.

## West Ham’s only WSL win over Manchester United

West Ham’s sole WSL victory in this fixture remains one of the most dramatic meetings between the clubs.

The Hammers beat Manchester United **3-2 on 1 December 2019** at Rush Green.

[West Ham’s official archive](https://www.whufc.com/en/news) records the victory, with Katharina Baunach producing two late free-kicks during a remarkable finish.

Her second proved decisive as West Ham overturned the contest and secured all three points.

The club later revisited that game ahead of the sides’ March 2026 meeting, again confirming Baunach scored twice in the 3-2 victory.

That result remains West Ham’s only league win against Manchester United.

Sunday therefore presents another opportunity for Guarino’s rebuilt squad to change a head-to-head record which remains heavily in United’s favour.

West Ham have already shown they can compete in tight matches this season. Ending their long wait for another victory in this fixture would represent a significant result before attention turns to Wednesday’s Subway Players Cup meeting with Southampton.
