# Met Police issue warning before Millwall vs West Ham derby

The Metropolitan Police have issued a fresh warning to supporters ahead of West Ham United’s long-awaited trip to Millwall on Saturday.

The Championship rivals meet at The Den for the first time since 2012, with the fixture kicking off at 12.30pm.

Given the history surrounding the derby, police have confirmed that additional safety measures will be in place around South Bermondsey.

That includes a **Section 35 dispersal order**, which will allow officers to remove anyone causing disorder in the local area.
