**West Ham United host Charlton Athletic at London Stadium on Saturday as Nuno Espírito Santo’s side play their first home Championship fixture of the 2026/27 season.**

The London derby takes place on **Saturday 22 August**, with kick-off scheduled for **3pm BST**. West Ham have confirmed the date, venue and kick-off time on their official website.

Supporters unable to attend will have limited options to watch the game live in the United Kingdom.

## Is West Ham vs Charlton on TV?

West Ham vs Charlton has **not been selected for live television coverage on Sky Sports in the UK**.

Sky Sports’ current West Ham fixture listings show Saturday’s 3pm game without a broadcast channel, unlike the Hammers’ televised fixtures.

That also follows the broadcast selections previously confirmed by the EFL. West Ham TV also offers live audio commentary for men’s first-team matches through its subscription service. Video passes are available for eligible Championship fixtures internationally, although West Ham state that video streaming is unavailable in the UK and Ireland.

## West Ham vs Charlton kick-off time

The match kicks off at **3pm BST on Saturday 22 August 2026** at London Stadium.

It is West Ham’s first home Championship game following relegation and comes after Nuno’s side opened their league campaign away at Burnley.

Charlton provide another early London test before West Ham travel to Watford on 29 August.

Tickets remain available through West Ham’s official channels, with the club also opening its Ticket Exchange for the fixture.

The match will begin a busy period at London Stadium, with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Derby County also due to visit east London during the opening weeks of September.
