# Virals: West Ham linked stars set to depart Real Madrid

Real Madrid outcast and previous [West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2022/03/26/pundit-believes-andriy-yarmolenko-deserves-new-west-ham-contract/) target [Luka Jovic](https://readwestham.com/2021/09/23/virals-west-ham-interested-in-real-madrid-striker-luka-jovic/)is reportedly set to move on this summer.

The 24-year-old has endured a [difficult time in Spain](https://www.sofascore.com/player/luka-jovic/319129) following a move from Eintracht Frankfurt and could finally be set for an exit in the upcoming transfer window.

Having previously been [linked](https://twitter.com/central_louis/status/1425159888213266435) with a move to the Hammers, David Moyes could well be alerted to the possibility of renewing interest.

According to a fresh report from Spanish outlet [AS](https://as.com/futbol/2022/03/25/primera/1648242542_490887.html), Jovic is set to join Eden Hazard, Mariano Diaz, Gareth Bale, Isco, Jesus Vallejo and Dani Ceballos on the list of possible departures.

So far this season Jovic – who was [likened](https://www.bundesliga.com/en/bundesliga/news/luka-jovic-is-like-luis-suarez-barcelona-eintracht-frankfurt-serbia-krstajic-3135) to Luis Suarez by Mladen Krstajic – has [scored just once and provided two assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/luka-jovic/leistungsdaten/spieler/257462) in 17 appearances across all competitions.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Previously the Irons have been tentatively [linked](https://www.teamtalk.com/west-ham-united/isco-interest-new-challenge-real-madrid) with a move for the Serbian as well as Hazard and Isco so this mass clearout may well be of further interest to the east Londoners.

However, with the need for a striker clear for all to see, making a swoop for the [£16.2million valued](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/luka-jovic/marktwertverlauf/spieler/257462) Serb would appear to make the most sense.

Despite a poor record in La Liga, Jovic has proven to be a [top-level goalscorer](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/luka-jovic/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/257462) in the past and Moyes would likely relish the chance to reignite yet another stalling career.
