# Virals: Lesser-seen West Ham duo in line for UEL action

Two lesser-seen [West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2022/03/15/virals-west-ham-poised-to-win-the-race-to-sign-efl-star-joe-worrall/) stars could be in line for Europa League action against Sevilla.

Irons’ boss David Moyes is set to be without Jarrod Bowen, [Michail Antonio](https://readwestham.com/2022/03/14/pundit-believes-michail-antonio-could-return-in-two-weeks/), Angelo Ogbonna and Vladimir Coufal for the crunch clash at the London Stadium.

Left-back Aaron Cresswell could also miss the second leg as the Hammers attempt to overturn a [1-0 deficit](https://www.whufc.com/news/highlights-sevilla-1-0-west-ham) in east London.

According to a report from [Claret & Hugh](https://www.claretandhugh.info/candh-exclusive-worrying-bowen-update/), Arthur Masuaku and young striker Armstrong Okoflex could be set to benefit from the absentees.

One of two reports citing the selection headache facing Moyes [claims](https://www.claretandhugh.info/arthur-may-get-a-sevilla-call/) that Masuaku ‘may be called on’ to play at left-wing back.

So far this season the 28-year-old Ivory Coast international has [scored once and provided one assist](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/arthur-masuaku/leistungsdaten/spieler/181380) in 22 appearances across all competitions.

Meanwhile, Okoflex is yet t feature for the first team this term but has scored [11 times](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/armstrong-oko-flex/leistungsdaten/spieler/531461) in just 17 Premier League 2 outings.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Calling upon either Masuaku or Okoflex is far from ideal for such an important fixture, but needs must.

Both are [capable of performing](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/arthur-masuaku/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/181380) to the standard required, however, neither can provide the threat of Bowen, Antonio and Cresswell.

Should West Ham and Moyes be able to mastermind a route beyond [four-time Europa League winners](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-sevilla/erfolge/verein/368) Sevilla with all these issues, it would perhaps eclipse any achievement from the Scot so far.
