# Virals: West Ham ‘considering’ move for Youssef En-Nesyri

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2022/03/09/pundit-says-west-ham-will-be-delighted-by-massive-jarrod-bowen-injury-news/) are reportedly ‘considering’ a move for Sevilla striker [Youssef En-Nesyri](https://readwestham.com/2021/11/24/virals-west-ham-move-for-youssef-en-nesyri-not-ruled-out/).

The 24-year-old ace was [extensively linked](https://twitter.com/DeadlineDayLive/status/1351108287635349509) with the Hammers in January 2021 and there were believed to be a number of rejected bids.

Now, ahead of the Irons’ trip to face the La Liga title chasers, a fresh report from [Fichajes](https://www.fichajes.net/noticias/west-ham-piensa-fichaje-nesyri-20220308.html) has claimed that West Ham could rekindle their interest.

The report claims that the East London club are ‘very interested’ in the [44-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/youssef-en-nesyri/nationalmannschaft/spieler/433049/verein_id/3575) Morocco star and will be one of David Moyes’ ‘first options’ when attempting to strengthen the attacking department in the summer.

This season En-Nesyri – [likened to Karim Benzema](https://thisisfutbol.com/2021/06/blogs/premier-league/west-ham/exclusive-spanish-expert-compares-west-ham-target-to-karim-benzema/) by Euan McTear – has [scored just three times and provided three assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/youssef-en-nesyri/leistungsdaten/spieler/433049) in 17 appearances across all competitions.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Valued at £36million and under contract in Spain until 2025 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/youssef-en-nesyri/marktwertverlauf/spieler/433049)), signing the Moroccan for anything close to the [previously mooted](https://talksport.com/football/821164/west-ham-offer-sevilla-youssef-en-nesyri-bid/) £30million fee would be an exceptional capture.

Despite [missing 12 games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/youssef-en-nesyri/verletzungen/spieler/433049) this season and subsequently struggling for top form, En-Nesyri’s 18 goal 2020/21 campaign was all the evidence required to show the quality of the player.

Fit and available once more, Moyes will likely get a closer look at a potential target when [West Ham face Sevilla](https://www.skysports.com/west-ham-united-fixtures) tomorrow (March 10).
