# Virals: West Ham ‘willing to offer’ £25million for Armando Broja

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2022/03/06/opinion-west-ham-player-ratings-from-wasteful-epl-loss/) are reportedly ‘willing to offer’ £25million this summer in order to sign Chelsea star [Armando Broja](https://readwestham.com/2022/01/28/pundit-backs-west-ham-pursuit-of-powerful-armando-broja/).

The 20-year-old striker has spent the season on loan at Southampton and has enjoyed a [superb spell](https://www.sofascore.com/player/armando-broja/996985) on the south coast so far.

Born in Slough, Broja has been capped at the [senior and youth international levels](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/armando-broja/nationalmannschaft/spieler/571743/verein_id/3561) by Albania.

According to a report from Spanish outlet [Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/futbol/mercado-fichajes-directo-noticias-ultima-13234824), as cited by [Football Transfers](https://twitter.com/Transferzone00) on Twitter, the Hammers are keen on the powerful frontman.

> 🚨 West Ham United is ready to offer £25m for Armando Broja 🇦🇱. But West Ham could struggle to do business with rivals Chelsea, who value Broja at an astronomical £70m. The report states that the [10-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/armando-broja/nationalmannschaft/spieler/571743/verein_id/3561) ace has the ‘interest of several clubs, especially Arsenal’ as well as West Ham.

So far this term Broja – recently described as [‘dangerous’](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/football/59843062) by Ralph Hasenhuttl – has [scored nine times and provided one assist](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/armando-broja/leistungsdaten/spieler/571743) in 28 appearances across all competitions.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Under [contract at Stamford Bridge](https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2021/07/18/new-deal-for-broja) until 2026, signing the Albanian for the mooted £25million would be superb value for money.

Already a [regular goalscorer](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/armando-broja/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/571743) in first-team football, Broja would appear to be at the elite level to sta.

Given the success of this campaign’s loan spell and the plight of a [misfiring Romelu Lukaku](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10555723/Chelsea-boss-Thomas-Tuchel-needs-struggling-striker-Romelu-Lukaku-love.html) at Chelsea, there is a chance Thomas Tuchel will want to keep the returning star.

But, should another departure be on the cards, David Moyes should be doing everything possible to bring the £8.1million valued ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/armando-broja/marktwertverlauf/spieler/571743)) Broja to the London Stadium.
