# Virals: West Ham in ‘advanced talks’ to sign Duje Caleta-Car

The Hammers have been [extensively linked](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10450065/West-Ham-fail-bid-sign-Marseille-defender-Duje-Caleta-Car-loan-option-buy.html) with the 25-year-old throughout the January transfer window and could make one final attempt to get the deal across the line.

Various reports have suggested that the [20-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/duje-caleta-car/nationalmannschaft/spieler/238266/verein_id/3556) Croatia international could be targetted for a loan move.
