# Pundit lauds ‘absolutely outstanding’ West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2022/01/16/west-ham-fans-slam-truly-woeful-issa-diop-performance/) may have succumbed to a damaging 3-2 defeat at the hands of Leeds United in the Premier League but that didn’t stop the man of the moment [Jarrod Bowen](https://readwestham.com/2022/01/13/pundits-and-west-ham-fans-alike-salute-excellent-jarrod-bowen-form/) from hitting the headlines.

The 25-year-old ace levelled the game for the Hammers in the first half before a [Pablo Fornals strike](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTAUm_YEZlo) also came in vain as Leeds prevailed at the London Stadium.

Despite the defeat, it was Bowen who [caught the eye for the hosts](https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/jarrod-bowen-liverpool-jurgen-klopp-6175246) once again as impressed onlookers lauded another fine performance.

One of those to be in admiration was former Tottenham man Tim Sherwood who told [Premier League Tv production](https://www.premierleague.com/) that the Englishman is enjoying a purple patch.

> Jarrod Bowen is on a streak. An in-form man at the moment. Absolutely outstanding. He makes no mistake.

The ex-Hull City star earned a [7.00 Sofascore rating](https://www.sofascore.com/player/jarrod-bowen/552884) for a display containing 49 touches, two interceptions and unfortunately, one big chance missed.

This season Bowen has now [scored nine times and provided 10 assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jarrod-bowen/leistungsdaten/spieler/314875) in 31 appearances across all competitions for David Moyes’ side.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Although this was [yet another fine outing](https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2022/january/16-january/goals-west-ham-united-2-3-leeds-united) for the West Ham forward, it’s difficult to agree with the ‘no mistake’ claim after that glaring miss late on.

That said, the [£31.5million valued](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jarrod-bowen/marktwertverlauf/spieler/314875) man continues to shine for Moyes’ men and it’s understandable that clubs and pundits alike would begin to sit up and take notice.

Next up for the Irons is a [trip to Old Trafford](https://www.whufc.com/fixtures/first-team/fixtures-and-results) to face Manchester United and Bowen will no doubt be looking for yet more acclaim.
