# Pundits and West Ham fans alike salute ‘excellent’ Jarrod Bowen form

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2022/01/13/west-ham-fans-applaud-outstanding-aaron-cresswell-display-on-social-media/) forward [Jarrod Bowen](https://www.givemesport.com/1808333-liverpool-transfer-news-40m-mane-alternative-would-form-good-combination-with-mo-salah) has picked up 2022 exactly where 2021 left off in terms of form.

The 25-year-old already has three goals in three games this calendar year having signed off with [three assists against Watford](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/watford-fc_west-ham-united/index/spielbericht/3592300) on December 28.

Bagging a brace to secure [victory over Norwich City](https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2022/january/13-january/extended-highlights-west-ham-united-2-0-norwich-city) in the Premier League, Bowen is attracting a growing list of admirers.

Former Rangers and Scotland striker Ally McCoist was quick to hail the ace on [talkSPORT](https://twitter.com/talkSPORT/status/1481518877012115460), whilst plenty of Hammers were full of praise on social media.

Bowen also earned an outstanding [8.20 Sofascore rating](https://www.sofascore.com/player/jarrod-bowen/552884) for a performance containing 51 touches, three shots on target and 22 accurate passes.

This season the uncapped Englishman has now [scored eight times and provided 10 assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jarrod-bowen/leistungsdaten/spieler/314875) in 30 appearances across all competitions.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Valued at £31.5million and under contract at the London Stadium until 2025 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jarrod-bowen/marktwertverlauf/spieler/314875)), the club will be thankful for the lengthy deal and may yet look to extend amidst increased interest.

Moreover, on current form, there are [few players in the top-flight](https://www.sofascore.com/tournament/football/england/premier-league/17) more deserving of international recognition than Bowen.

As things stand, England are [next in action in June](https://www.englandfootball.com/mens-senior-team/fixtures-results) and the former Hull City man will be striving towards earning that allusive call up.
