[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/12/13/virals-west-ham-have-made-an-approach-to-sign-adam-hlozek/) are believed to be ‘tempted’ to make a move for Hull City ace Keane Lewis-Potter in the January transfer window.

The 20-year-old has previously been [linked](https://twitter.com/HullCityStats/status/1469057256117440520) with the Hammers and has continued to impress for the Yorkshire club.

Now, according to a report from [Hull Live](https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/premier-league-hull-keane-lewis-6344705), the Irons are weighing up a swoop for the English starlet.

The report claims that West Ham are ‘keeping tabs’ on Lewis-Potter and [David Moyes](https://readwestham.com/2021/12/13/pundit-suggests-double-arrival-would-be-ideal-window-for-west-ham/) has been watching ‘closely’ ahead of the window opening next month.

So far this season the youngster – hailed as a [‘special talent’](https://www.wearehullcity.co.uk/news/2020/september/mccann-lewis-potter-is-a-special-talent/) by Grant McCann – has [scored five times and provided four assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/keane-lewis-potter/leistungsdaten/spieler/644401) in 23 appearances across all competitions.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Valued at £900,000 and under contract in Hull until 2023 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/keane-lewis-potter/marktwertverlauf/spieler/644401)), the report states that the Championship strugglers rejected an £8million bid from Brentford and expect closer to the figure paid for Jarrod Bowen.

Capable of playing across a [variety of attacking positions](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/keane-lewis-potter/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/644401) – very much in the mould of Bowen – it’s easy to understand why Moyes would be an admirer of the starlet’s talents.

However, relatively [blessed in the attacking midfielder department](https://www.whufc.com/teams/first-team/squad) at present, the club would be wiser to focus on bringing a striker and central defender to the London Stadium above all else.
