# Virals: West Ham move for Youssef En-Nesyri ‘not ruled out’

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/11/23/pundit-tips-west-ham-to-sign-sparta-prague-starlet-adam-hlozek/) are once again being linked with a possible move for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri.

The Hammers were [heavily linked](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/youssef-en-nesyri-to-west-ham-united-is-the-proverbial/qp591a1pwy23186v1ydm9wum8) with the Moroccan in January as David Moyes sought a forward to replace Sebastien Haller.

Having initially failed to land the 24-year-old due to [rising demands](https://talksport.com/football/821164/west-ham-offer-sevilla-youssef-en-nesyri-bid/) from the La Liga club, it would appear Moyes hasn’t given up hope just yet.

That’s according to a report from  [Fichajes](https://www.fichajes.net/noticias/3-equipos-premier-league-iran-nesyri-20211123.html), as cited by [Sport Witness](https://twitter.com/Sport_Witness) on Twitter, claiming that the Irons could return in the upcoming January window.

The report claims that West Ham offered €35million (£29.4million) last winter and will ‘come for’ the [39-cap ace](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/youssef-en-nesyri/nationalmannschaft/spieler/433049/verein_id/3575) again.

Following an [18 goal league campaign](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/youssef-en-nesyri/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/433049) in 2020/21, En-Nesyri has [scored three times and provided two assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/youssef-en-nesyri/leistungsdaten/spieler/433049) across nine appearances in all competitions this season.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Given the previously high asking price and the continued [impressive](https://www.sofascore.com/player/youssef-en-nesyri/846470) exploits, it’s unlikely Sevilla will have lessened their demands.

Valued at £36million and under contract until 2025 in Spain ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/youssef-en-nesyri/marktwertverlauf/spieler/433049)), it would likely take an astronomical bid to land the Moroccan.

That’s not to say West Ham shouldn’t at least ask the question.

Albeit both sides are [currently sitting in Champions League qualification spots](https://www.skysports.com/la-liga-table) in their respective leagues, a move to the Hammers has rarely been so desirable and the club must strike whilst the iron is hot…
