West Ham have been heavily linked with a surprise move for Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey in recent months.
The 30-year-old Welshman is out of favour in Italy and the Hammers have previously been named among the suitors to bring the ace back to England.
Still a firm favourite for the Wales national team, Ramsey has plenty to offer at the top level and is believed to be seeking regular match action.
According to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, the ex-Arsenal man is open to a move away from Turin.
A recent report from Calciomercato has claimed that the Irons made contact over a move for the 69-cap star.
This season Ramsey, who was recently described as ‘world-class’ by Joe Allen, has made just five appearances across all competitions.

At full strength, the midfield department is relatively well-stocked at the London Stadium.
David Moyes has been able to rotate between Declan Rice, Mark Noble, Tomas Soucek and Alex Kral across the competitions so far.
However, outside of Manuel Lanzini, the Hammers do lack a truly attack-minded option and Ramsey would provide an alternative in east London.
Valued at £9million (Transfermarkt), at the right price and wages, signing Ramsey could be a shrewd deal to strengthen Moyes’ ranks.
