# Virals: John Terry left in awe of Declan Rice following West Ham victory

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/11/07/pundit-predicts-west-ham-defeat-at-the-hands-of-liverpool/) produced yet another memorable display in their recent history to beat Liverpool 3-2 at the London Stadium.

[Declan Rice](https://readwestham.com/2021/11/07/pundit-predicts-west-ham-defeat-at-the-hands-of-liverpool/) was once again at the heart of the performance as the Hammers went toe to toe with the previously unbeaten Premier League title challengers.

An Alisson Becker own goal started proceedings before [second-half strikes](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXMcDNrHFmM) from Pablo Fornals and Kurt Zouma secured all three points for the hosts.

New to the platform, Chelsea and England legend John Terry took to [Twitter](https://twitter.com/John2606Terry/status/1457450568608329734?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1457450568608329734%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fd-10066357904185709033.ampproject.net%2F2110212130002%2Fframe.html) to laud Rice in the aftermath.

The [27-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/declan-rice/nationalmannschaft/spieler/357662/verein_id/3299) ace earned a [7.10 Sofascore rating](https://www.sofascore.com/player/declan-rice/856714)in a composed outing at the heart of the Irons’ midfield.

David Moyes’ side sit [third in the table](https://www.premierleague.com/tables) heading into the international break and will face Wolves on the return to domestic matters.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Outstanding.

Rice was phenomenal [once again](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/declan-rice/leistungsdaten/spieler/357662) for the Hammers, even more so given the calibre of opposition.

West Ham continue to defy odds and at this rate, the question hanging over the [£63million valued](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/declan-rice/marktwertverlauf/spieler/357662) star’s future will disperse very quickly.
