# Virals: West Ham ‘keen’ on signing Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/10/25/virals-journalist-updates-andrea-belotti-situation-amid-west-ham-interest/) are reportedly among a number of clubs ‘keen’ on signing Inter Milan midfielder [Ivan Perisic](https://readwestham.com/2019/07/08/west-ham-make-ivan-perisic-move/).

The Hammers are believed to be interested in bringing the [experienced Croatian international](https://fbref.com/en/players/6fe90922/Ivan-Perisic) to the London Stadium.

However, David Moyes faces tough competition for the 32-year-old from Everton and a number of [Bundesliga](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/german-bundesliga/table) clubs.

That’s according to a report from [*Fichajes*](https://www.sportsmole.co.uk/fwd/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmljaGFqZXMubmV0L25vdGljaWFzL3RyZXMtcG9zaWJsZXMtZGVzdGlub3MtaXZhbi1wZXJpc2ljLTIwMjExMDI0Lmh0bWw/?fwd=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.fichajes.net%2Fnoticias%2Ftres-posibles-destinos-ivan-perisic-20211024.html&sport=1&spName=Football&spArticle=x_Everton%2C_West_Ham%20%27among%20c), as cited by [Global Watch Football](https://twitter.com/gwf_official) on Twitter.

The report claims that the Irons are monitoring the contract situation surrounding the [109 times capped](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ivan-perisic/nationalmannschaft/spieler/42460/verein_id/3556) star who is ‘ideal’ for the Premier League.

So far this season the Croatian has [scored twice and registered one assist](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ivan-perisic/leistungsdaten/spieler/42460) in eight Serie A outings.

Described as [‘amazing’](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/988261/Man-Utd-transfer-news-Jose-Mourinho-Croatia-World-Cup-Ivan-Perisic-rumours-gossip) by Jose Mourinho, Perisic has amassed a staggering [231 direct goal contributions](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ivan-perisic/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/42460) in a career spanning 512 appearances.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Valued at £9million and under contract until the end of the season ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ivan-perisic/marktwertverlauf/spieler/42460)), signing a player of the winger’s pedigree for free would be a huge coup.

Capable of playing in a [variety](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/70524/Show/Ivan-Perisic) of positions, West Ham’s squad would be bolstered by the arrival of the Croatia legend.

Albeit Moyes’ squad is relatively blessed in the wide attacking areas, the opportunity to bring a player of [Perisic’s prestige](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ivan-perisic/erfolge/spieler/42460) to east London cannot be overlooked.
