# Virals: Journalist updates Andrea Belotti situation amid West Ham interest

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/10/25/paul-scholes-believes-declan-rice-is-becoming-the-complete-midfielder/) look to have been handed a boost in any pursuit of Torino striker [Andrea Belotti](https://readwestham.com/2021/10/24/pundit-tips-west-ham-to-make-incredible-andrea-belotti-signing/).

The Hammers have been [heavily linked](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/west-ham-favourites-belotti-transfer-torino-mourinho) with a move for the 27-year-old in recent weeks amidst growing uncertainty surrounding Belotti’s future in Italy.

Now it would appear that the forward has decided upon his future lying away from the [Serie A](https://www.skysports.com/serie-a-table) club.

Reputable journalist Fabrizio Romano took to [Twitter](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1452561723727224832) to quote manager Ivan Juric stating Belotti will not be extending his current deal beyond the summer of 2022.

Juric was also adamant that the [39 times capped](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/andrea-belotti/nationalmannschaft/spieler/167727/verein_id/3376) Italy man won’t leave the club in January.

So far this season the man described as boasting an [‘incredible’](https://www.footballinsider247.com/west-ham-backed-to-lan-bargain-belotti-signing-in-jan-kenny/) record by Paddy Kenny has [scored once](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/andrea-belotti/leistungsdaten/spieler/167727) in five appearances across all competitions.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Valued at £31.5million ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/andrea-belotti/marktwertverlauf/spieler/167727)), there will be a queue of clubs lining up to land Belotti for free next summer.

Strong [aerially and in linking up](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/112272/Show/Andrea-Belotti) play, the Italian would be able to operate as either a lone striker or alongside Michail Antonio.

Boasting [151 career goals](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/andrea-belotti/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/167727), the former Palermo FC star has enjoyed a superb career culminating in a European Championship winners medal this year.

For all the aforementioned reasons, David Moyes and co should be formulating a plan in order to be at the forefront to sign Belotti.
