# Virals: Reported West Ham target Connor Goldson speaks out

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/10/21/pundit-believes-somethings-not-right-with-michail-antonio/) were reported to be interested in Rangers defender [Connor Goldson](https://readwestham.com/2021/09/16/virals-west-ham-set-sights-on-rangers-defender-connor-goldson/) during the summer amid stalling contract negotiations.

The Hammers were then said to be ‘[monitoring the situation](https://www.footballinsider247.com/sources-west-ham-keep-tabs-on-rangers-star-goldson-after-offer-rejected/)‘ surrounding the 28-year-old as a possible long term replacement for either Angelo Ogbonna or Craig Dawson.
