# Virals: West Ham reportedly lining up move for Italy star Andrea Belotti

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/10/08/virals-west-ham-discover-25-5m-price-tag-for-weston-mckennie/) are believed to be weighing up a move for Torino striker [Andrea Belotti](https://readwestham.com/2021/08/10/virals-excitement-on-twitter-as-andrea-belotti-trends-towards-west-ham/).

This comes as a report from [Calciomercato.com](https://www.google.com/url?client=internal-element-cse&cx=006305408746282199177:4b56alrzrvs&q=https://www.calciomercato.com/news/torino-belotti-tra-infortunio-e-il-caso-rinnovo-si-avvicina-il-m-91231&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwjPou_20bjzAhWEzoUKHfWvBOsQFnoECAMQAg&usg=AOvVaw0pJ9hkP2yKTh_p9yIUGdww) claims that the 27-year-old is contemplating a transfer in the near future having rejected a new deal to stay in Turin.

Inter Milan have [reportedly](https://www.fcinternews.it/in-primo-piano/fcin-cairo-libera-belotti-a-zero-linter-ce-contatto-due-settimane-fa/) met with the ace’s representatives following on from interest from the Hammers during the summer.

Now, a report from [WestHamFans.org](https://westhamfans.org/content/hammers-lining-sensational-belotti-deal) has claimed that the Irons are once again considering a ‘sensational’ offer.

Somewhat of a late bloomer at the elite level, Belotti has earned [39-caps](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/andrea-belotti/nationalmannschaft/spieler/167727/verein_id/3376) for Italy and was an [integral part](https://www.sofascore.com/player/andrea-belotti/220223) of the Azzurri’s successful European Championship campaign.

This season the hardworking striker has [scored once](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/andrea-belotti/leistungsdaten/spieler/167727) in two Serie A appearances having missed the start of the term with a tendon injury.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Signing a centre-forward to offer [support to Michail Antonio](https://www.whufc.com/teams/first-team/squad) remains the highest possible priority for David Moyes.

Albeit injuries are yet to curtail the 31-year-old Jamaican, West Ham have already [felt Antonio’s absence](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/sep/11/southampton-west-ham-premier-league-match-report) in the way of a suspension.

Valued at £31.5million and rapidly approaching the final six months of a contract ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/andrea-belotti/marktwertverlauf/spieler/167727)), landing Belotti for a bargain fee, or even for nothing, would be a huge coup.

Very much a forward in the mould of Antonio, Belotti offers a [strong physical presence](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/112272/Show/Andrea-Belotti) as well as impressive quality in front of goal.

West Ham would be wise to be at the very front of this particular queue.
