# Virals: West Ham ‘plot’ move for Hull starlet Keane Lewis-Potter

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/10/01/ray-parlour-tips-west-ham-for-stunning-edinson-cavani-swoop/) have reportedly ‘kept tabs’ on Hull City starlet Keane Lewis-Potter.

The Hammers completed the [capture of Jarrod Bowen](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51323082) from the Championship outfit in January 2020 and it would appear they have maintained an interest at the KCOM Stadium ever since.

Previously [named](https://www.wearehullcity.co.uk/teams/first-team/forward/keane-lewis-potter/#:~:text=He%20was%20named%20as%20the,team%20level%20in%202019%2F20.) as Academy Player of the Year, Lewis-Potter has been making a name for himself in the senior side over the last 18 months.

According to a report from [TEAMtalk](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/exclusive-west-ham-keane-lewis-potter-hull-city-transfer), as cited by [Hull Transfers](https://twitter.com/HullTransfers) on Twitter, David Moyes could be considering a second raid in Yorkshire.

The report claims that West Ham have ‘kept their eyes’ on the 20-year-old [English winger](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/keane-lewis-potter/profil/spieler/644401) and are ‘contemplating’ a January swoop.

Since breaking into the first team, Lewis-Potter has scored[20 times and provided 10 assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/keane-lewis-potter/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/644401) in 85 appearances.

This season the youngster, described as a player with a [‘bright future’](https://bpafc.com/bradford-park-avenue-secure-hull-city-prospect/) by Nigel Adkins, has scored [three times and added two assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/keane-lewis-potter/leistungsdaten/spieler/644401) in 11 outings.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

Signing Lewis-Potter would certainly be an attempted repeat of the Bowen capture.

Similar in playing style, both natural wingers have the [capacity](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/keane-lewis-potter/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/644401) of playing in central roles, versatile that endears David Moyes to new arrivals.

Valued at just £530,000 and under contract until 2023 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/keane-lewis-potter/marktwertverlauf/spieler/644401)), West Ham would be wise to act before the [Championship strugglers](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/table) can tie their prize asset down.
