# Ryan Taylor confirms West Ham will sign Spartak Moscow ace Alex Kral

[West Ham](https://readwestham.com/2021/08/31/virals-west-ham-hold-an-interest-in-lille-forward-jonathan-bamba/) look to have completed the loan capture of Spartak Moscow midfielder [Alex Kral](https://readwestham.com/2021/08/31/virals-west-ham-reportedly-close-to-signing-alex-kral-on-loan/).

The 23-year-old will [reportedly join the Hammers](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1432727734812397571?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet) on a season-long loan deal with an obligation to buy attached.

Predominantly a defensive-minded midfielder, Kral, a compatriot of Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal, will offer [added depth to the department](https://www.whufc.com/teams/first-team/squad) at the London Stadium.

Journalist [Ryan Taylor](https://twitter.com/RyanTaylorSport/status/1432726856751517697) has quoted Managing Director at the Russian Premier Liga club, Evgeny Melezhikov, seemingly confirming the transfer.

Last season the man signed from Slavia Prague for £10.8million in 2019 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alex-kral/transfers/spieler/337333)) registered [five assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alex-kral/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/337333) in 29 league outings.

### READ WEST HAM VERDICT

This is quickly turning into a dream transfer window and deadline day for the Hammers.

Given the upcoming [Europa League campaign](https://www.whufc.com/fixtures/first-team/fixtures-and-results) the squad needed additions in certain areas and Moyes is on the cusp of strengthening adequately.

Kral will likely act as cover for Declan Rice and Soucek, usurping [club captain Mark Noble](https://www.whufc.com/teams/first-team/squad/mark-noble#Profile) in the pecking order.

As the deadline fast approaches, wrapping up the deal for Kral and perhaps moving onto that [allusive recognised striker](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/west-ham-new-bid-sevilla-striker-youssef-en-nesyri) remain on the ideal agenda.
