Valued at £10.8million and under contract until 2024 in France ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/layvin-kurzawa/marktwertverlauf/spieler/126710)), capturing the trophy-laden ace would for the [previously mooted £6million](https://metro.co.uk/2020/01/17/psg-set-asking-price-arsenal-sign-layvin-kurzawa-12076753/) would represent excellent value.

Predominantly a left-back, Kurzawa can also [operate in a more advanced role](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/layvin-kurzawa/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/126710) – in a similar mould to Arthur Masuaku.

Although Cresswell has remained a constant performer for the Irons in recent years, the additional [demands of Europa League football](https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2021/may/23-may/west-ham-united-qualify-uefa-europa-league-final-day-win-over#:~:text=May%2018%3A13-,West%20Ham%20United%20qualify%20for%20UEFA%20Europa,final%2Dday%20win%20over%20Southampton&text=A%20first%2Dhalf%20brace%20from,for%20the%20UEFA%20Europa%20League.) will stretch the 31-year-old to his limits.
